Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced to developers that any title submitted for PS4 certification after July 13 this year must also be compatible with PlayStation 5. The information has been passed on by Eurogamer .
On the PlayStation partners’ internal website, where games are submitted for certification, there is an option for developers to confirm that their titles have been tested for PlayStation 5. This new option was made available with the new PlayStaion 4 developer kit released in April.
Developers will be contacted individually, in the order in which their projects are released, with details on how to test PS5 compatibility. The games cannot have problems to run in both software.
Also according to Eurogamer, The Last of Us II and Ghost of Tsushima will be compatible with PlayStation 5
