Even after suffering from sensitive video leaks that reveal major plot spoilers, The last of Us Part II remained firm and strong in pre-sales and even surpassed Marvel’s Spider-Man in Europe, according to Jim Ryan in an interview with the portal Cnet .
According to the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, the title produced by Naughty Dog has impressive pre-order numbers on the European continent and has already reached higher values compared to the Spider-Man game of 2018; the neighborhood buddy game has sold over 13 million copies worldwide since its release.
Whereas The Last of Us –––––– ––original has sold over 20 million copies to date, both for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, it is not difficult to imagine a scenario where the sequel is a resounding sales success. Jim Ryan agrees with this point and hopes “this will be a decisive game for the completion of this generation”.
The Last of Us Part II is scheduled to arrive next month on June 19, exclusively on PlayStation 4 . This week an exclusive State of Play of the game was aired and detailed several information, mainly when it comes to gameplay.
